Altai Hok Gliding snow shoe is a wide and short ski with an integrated climbing skin on the base, making it excellent for skiing in forests and on ice. With these skis, it’s easy to climb gentle slopes and descend them thanks to the grip skin — it conveniently controls the downhill speed! The Altai Hok skis combine the best features of both skis and snowshoes.

There are two models of the ski: Altai Hok 145 and Altai Hok 125.
The number refers to the ski’s length in centimeters. The 145 model is suitable for people weighing around 75 kg and above, while the shorter 125 model is better suited for those under 75 kg. The shorter ski is also handier to use in the forest. The weight “limits” are approximate.
The skis can be picked up from our warehouse at Tukkikatu 5, Lappeenranta. After making a reservation, you’ll receive detailed instructions about the warehouse location via email.
