The Winkkari open canoe is a stable and carrying canoe model, with a length of 525 cm, a width of 90 cm, and a weight of approximately 40 kg. These dimensions make the canoe easy to handle on the water and convenient to manage on land before launching or after a trip. Its spacious design provides room for both paddlers and gear, making it easier to plan and carry out longer excursions.
Most of the canoes are two-seaters, but one canoe is a three-seater. The two-seater canoes carry two adults, while the three-seater canoe can carry two adults and a child or gear. These canoes are suitable for both day trips and longer explorations of waterways.
Käyrälampi provides a setting for a peaceful paddling experience in nature. The lake is sheltered, and the surrounding environment helps you focus on the moment. Canoeing on Käyrälampi is a relaxing experience where everyday stress is forgotten.
Equipment is available directly from our rental point. Open canoes are ready at the shore of Käyrälampi, but we also deliver them to other locations, such as Väliväylä or Repovesi. Our staff will guide you in using the equipment, go through safety instructions, and ensure that everything is in order before departure. Please note that equipment is delivered to Repovesi only for longer, overnight trips.

Customers use the rental equipment at their own risk, and participants must have sufficient skill and experience to handle a canoe safely. Reservations may be canceled if the customer is unable to control the canoe safely. All paddlers must know how to swim, and the person who made the reservation is responsible for ensuring that everyone in the group meets these requirements.
Life jackets must always be worn while in the canoe, and the jackets include a whistle for emergencies. Keep within a safe distance from the shore according to your swimming ability. Do not overestimate your skills or underestimate the distance to the shore. Please note that the water temperature is cold, especially at the beginning and end of the season.
When moving on the water, maintain at least a 50-meter distance from cottages and other buildings.
